VMA Week 2 tutorial

Week 2 Tutorial

I have again included screen shots to show what i did to the already keyed footage

I am not sure about the grading though. I find it a bit too yellow, but that's the style that could fit into the scene.

Ungraded shot of main figure
A mask was created to disguise the writing in the bike mirror.

Shot 1 - Graded (with adjustment layer)
All shots used the same grade. Backgrounds & green screen shots also had separate grade, with minor adjustments to compensate for different lighting levels.

Adjusted background so that it wasn't completely black after grading.

Graded Shot 6 - Gang (re-grade of Michelle & mirror mask)
It was a case of Michelle being really grainy & re-grading her to fit in with the scene.

Re-grade of shot 4 masks
Just copied over colour effects & gaussian blur from shot 6 to shot 4 to match.

Finished & Graded Shot 3
Added an adjustment layer to all shots to get n overall colour grade. Also altered some to get rid of unwanted darkness.

I wasn't quite sure on the grade. Maybe spent a little too much time refining it.

Even though this took a while, overall, I am pleased with the result.

Peace.
