Thursday was Interesting

Even though I didn't get much sleep and felt really tired for most of the morning, I quite enjoyed what I was doing yesterday (Thursday) at College. We looked at Dance films made in previous years by students and at a few professionally made ones to get an idea of what we would be doing for our next moving image assignment.

Our assignment is to make a 90 second dance film about a dancer doing a choreographed routine which is inspired by the new art of parkour (free running). As well as the short film we are filming in groups of two with, we would have to film a piece involving all of the dancers that they have started rehearsing and will also include elements of parkour into their routine

Anyways, until me & Liam (my project partner) have come up with an idea for a story & a location, we'll leave the dancer to continue rehearsing her routine and we will get back to her on when we plan to shoot the film.

Next week is all about planning & we should come up with a suitable idea of how we plan to shoot the 90 second dance film.
