New month, new beginnings

Oh look, September is here. Got to be honest, August has flown by. So much happened during that time. Most notably the English riots, yes England. Scotland, Wales & Ireland were not involved in them in the 2nd week of the popular holiday month.

If it wasn't for a few hooligans, criminals & kids, it would be almost perfect, all bar the changing weather. I'm English, we're used to it!

The other thing was all the Uni work that I finished just in time. The stresses & strains were worth it on the 3 hour journey to Uni in Stafford (near Stoke). Checked out my new house for next year, which is quite nice & modern. Nice furnishings, rooms, kitchen, bathroom & it's even got a cellar! Something that not every student has in their very first tenancy. Feel lucky as anything. The journey back was nice, watching a film or 2.

Most of the time was spent catching up on recent cinema releases. you know, the good ones. The Tree Of Life, Super 8, Studio Ghibli's Arrietty, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes & The Skin I Live In. All good films & great stories.

As I'll be going out more during Uni times, my fitness needed to be improved. A few runs down & up the hill past Nicolas Cage's castle, yes, it's the one outside of Bath, Midford Castle. Sweet as. Did a few cycles along the canal, one advantage of being on the West Country. A good 20 miles a day was well worth the pain. Went to Bath & to Bradford on Avon a couple of times. Was good seeing my old home town of 'Bradders'

Apart from the odd F1 race, the rest of my time was spent social networking, like what I'm doing now… how boring.

Oh yeah, when I've had the chance, I've taken quite a lot of decent photos on my phone
Here are a few examples

Part of Bath's new Roman Spa centre. Beautiful.
I love where I live, especially in Summer.

As I said, it's now September. Organising myself for University in the middle of the month. Teaching myself new filming & editing techniques. Aiming to design my own professional website, production company, trademark and if possible, get work paid or unpaid with any kind of production company, film work or other opportunities to further my experience in the field.

At this moment, I really wish one of my best friends would come back off of holiday before I go back to University. Otherwise it'll be Christmas at the very earliest I'll get to see them. Finger's crossed!

Weekend is going to be about having fun, talking to as many people as I can and network myself & my film work.

Majority of my professional work can be found on the previous post below

That's all for now.

Peace x
